Expect Color Guards, reenactors, music by the Washington Crossing Fifes and Drums, fireworks at 9 p.m., and even tethered balloon rides (weather permitting).

Entries Now Open for Botanical Musings Exhibit at Thompson Park
Got a green thumb and a creative spark? The Monmouth County Park System is inviting local artists to submit their work for the upcoming Botanical Musings Exhibit, set to run from September 26 through November 14 at the Gallery in the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center in Lincroft.
This special exhibit will showcase artwork inspired by the beauty, mystery, and intricate forms of plant life. From realistic florals to abstract leafy visions, all styles and mediums are welcome!

Nope, it’s not a joke—it actually happened! On July 16, Jersey’s finest, rock legends Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, popped into Roberto’s Freehold Grill on East Main Street for a bite. No entourage, no red carpet—just bacon, coffee, and Jersey pride. Shoutout to these hometown heroes for showing love where it counts: local businesses.
